All chapter members are invited to attend any board meetings to present

November 19, 2009 IFMAHR Chapter Meeting/Tour
The IFMA Hampton Roads Chapter meeting for November – normally held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, will be moved to Thursday, November 19, as we will be touring the Virginia Beach Jail. The Marshalls in charge of the facility explain how to secure a facility – lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and building perimeter – when everyone wants to break out. We believe this has excellent applications for our facilities with ideas on how to better secure our buildings from break-ins, how to secure items and areas, and how to assure our security is adequate.
Time for the meeting will be the same – Registration at 11:30 and tour ending approximately at 1:00 PM. This tour includes lunch and attendees will have to pre-register for their meal choice and will have to sign a “Hold Harmless” agreement before touring the facility.
We will be meeting at the Virginia Beach Jail - more details on parking, etc., will be sent with our regular Monthly Meeting announcement.
